Denis Deblois

Dr. Denis deBlois (PhD) is a Professor of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Montreal, where he is responsible for the Bachelor's program on Biopharmaceutical Sciences. He is also the Academic Director of the International Summer School on Medicines created jointly with the University of Barcelona, University of Toulouse and University of Sao Paolo, and Academic Director of the Life Sciences Entrepreneurship Development Program created jointly with the John-Molson School of Business at University Concordia. He codirected the Research Group on Drug Discovery and Evaluation (GRUM) from 2013 to 2022 at the University of Montreal and was Scientific Chair of the International Federation of Pharmacy (FIP) 2020 Pharmaceutical Sciences World Congress in Montreal in 2020. Dr deBlois has published over 85 scientific publications and book chapters in the fields of pharmacology and response to tissue injury. He has over 7 years of experience as a scientific consultant for the pharmaceutical industry in Canada and the United States and is an alumnus of the American Course on Drug Development and Regulatory Sciences (2010) from the University of California, San Francisco.
