The 2025-2026 cohort is now formed!

Trainees from our fourth cohort of the 1-year curriculum will begin their training in October 2025! Stay tuned for the announcement of trainees and bursary recipients!

To join one of our upcoming annual cohorts, check your eligibilityi cii and create your CAMCCO-L account by indicating that you wish to follow the 1-year curriculum in the question provided for this purpose in the registration form.

Interested individuals will be contacted by email in March 2026 to confirm their eligibility and registration for the curriculum.

Training according to your needs

In order to promote transdisciplinarity, you will be required to register for at least 2 course modules that are complementary to your university training field.

Eligibility Criteria

To join an annual cohort of the 1-year curriculum, you must:

  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university in a graduate program (MSc, PhD) or as a postdoctoral fellow 

OR

  • Be an early career researcher (PhD, MSc or MD obtained less than 5 years ago)

AND

  • Conduct therapeutic research in one of the following research areas:
  • 1) Maternal, fetal or infant health (perinatal health)
    2) Developmental or fetal toxicity (teratology)
    3) Maternal-fetal or obstetric medicine
    Individuals who wish to follow the 1-year curriculum will be required to commit to:
    • Registering for all online courses in the Overarching Principles Module
    • Registering for all online courses of at least 2 modules complementary to their university training field (excluding the Overarching Principles Module)
    • Attending all online courses live in the Overarching Principles Module and the 2 selected course modules
    • Attending the 2 days of the CAMCCO-L Annual Conference and present their research work (our conference is held in the spring of each year)
    • Presenting and animating a virtual journal club
    • Completing the electronic self-evaluation portfolio
    • Being matched with one of the CAMCCO-L mentors as part of the Mentorship Program
    • Mentioning CAMCCO-L in presentations and publications of their research findings
    • Becoming a CAMCCO-L alumni after completing the 1-year curriculum
