Daniel Corsi

Dr. Daniel Corsi (PhD) is a Scientist at Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario Research Institute and an Epidemiologist with Ontario's Better Outcomes Registry & Network (BORN Ontario). In addition, he is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and with the School of Epidemiology and Public Health. Daniel is an Epidemiologist with a focus on maternal substance use in pregnancy. His research uses innovative methods to understand the influence of socioeconomic status and substance use on maternal-child health in the perinatal period and across the life course. He has pursued this research both in the context of Canada and globally. He is the Principal Investigator on a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)-funded project looking at long-term development in children prenatally exposed to cannabis. His research track record in the field includes more than 110 original articles and book chapters. In addition, Daniel has mentored over 20 scholars from undergraduates, graduates, postdoctoral fellows, and trainees in various capacities.
